Carbon Emissions
By displacing fossil fuel-based electricity, Mokopane Solar Farm 1 will save approximately 5,880 metric tons of CO₂ annually, equivalent to removing ~1,280 passenger cars from the road each year (based on ~4.6 metric tons CO₂/car/year). Over its lifetime, this initiative will significantly contribute to South Africa's climate goals, fostering a cleaner, greener future.
