Set for grid connection in 2029, Middelburg Solar Farm will reshape Middelburg's energy landscape by generating 4 MW of clean power. The project will create 15 direct jobs during construction, 50 indirect jobs, and 2 permanent positions, enhancing local employment and sustainable development.
Carbon Emissions
Middelburg Solar Farm will reduce CO₂ emissions by approximately 2,613 metric tons annually, equivalent to removing ~568 passenger cars from the road each year (based on ~4.6 metric tons CO₂/car/year). This initiative supports South Africa's climate goals, contributing to a greener future.
